Imaging & Safety
HD Ultrasound Guidance
Real-time imaging used to confirm safe, accurate placement during contouring.
Overview
High-definition ultrasound provides live visualization of soft tissue planes during surgery.
In fat transfer cases, it allows the surgeon to confirm that fat is delivered above the muscle plane — the technique standard supported by current safety evidence in BBL.
How it Works
- A sterile ultrasound probe is used at the operative field to identify tissue planes in real time.
- Cannula tip position can be verified before each pass during fat injection.
- Imaging is also used to plan release patterns and to check end-of-case results when indicated.
Where it Helps
- — Brazilian Butt Lift and Skinny BBL — supports current safety guidance
- — Revision contouring where prior anatomy may be distorted
- — Cases that require precise depth control around critical structures
Honest Limits
- — Ultrasound guidance does not eliminate risk — it is one element of a safety-first plan.
- — Its value depends on the surgeon's training in interpreting intra-operative imaging.
